2 great basketball schools and the rest wishing it was football season. If the conference was so good, how did 4 teams (best of the rest) get their asses handed to them in the NIT?
Listen, there's nothing wrong with having a top heavy conference provided those 2 teams consistently perform, which they obviously do. The rest of the SEC (minus TN) is flat out awful.

I believe Tennessee greatly underperformed in the regular season. Team had top 15 talent imo. Finished about where we should have.

the teams that made it to the NIT will say it was underrated, the teams left out of the NIT will say it was either overrated or rated right

Fair enough. Either way, Sweet16 is a good accomplishment, congrats on that. Maybe next year the conference can get 4 or 5 teams in.
