Sure you were. I've been to the last 5. Tiger Stadium sustains a higher decibel level than anywhere I've been, but BDS and JHS for that matter can and do get just as loud

No, I'm not a Bulldog fan so I don't remember every time you guys wear a color in a game. I just remember the one time you did vs Bama.

Went to BDS last two times we've played there. And went to tiger stadium and the Ags stadium last year. BDS and Ags have nothing on Tiger stadium....not even close. I only recall one time during the 2013 game in BDS when I thought it was loud...that was for one play.

Ive been to 2 BDS games and 2 JHS games. Both JHS games were considerably louder than both BDS games. JHS is far and away the loudest stadium I've been to outside TS.

This will be one of the loudest games of the entire year. The atmosphere will be electric! I think this is going to provide a huge adavantage for our team. We are going to put Tiger Stadium to shame.
I've never been too impressed with the noise level of Bryant-Denny. I've never been to Texas A&M, Missouri, or Gainesville, but LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Georgia are all louder venues than Alabama, IMO.
Being such a late kickoff, if Ole Miss gets up early, that stadium could be crickets. It all depends on who scores first. When folks have been drinking for as many hours as I'm sure they will be this Saturday in Tuscaloosa, it can work the opposite way if a team finds itself trailing early, that late at night.

quote:Preaching to the choir my man. In 2009, LSU vs UF was the most attended game in LSU history. Over 150k on campus, cars parked down River Road up to 3 miles away from the stadium, first time CBS did the double header to play the LSU game at night, Urban and his band of thugs stomped on the Eye pregame and started a fight etc etc. I remeber getting in that stadium and the crowd was ready for blood. Then kickoff happened and it proceeded to be the most boring uneventful 13-0 game of all time

Discounting Athens, I would agree. LSU is the loudest, and Auburn is second.
I've never been to Gainesville and I hear it is also loud, or at least used to be.
SCar is also not far behind.

You guys should go to a game at Autzen sometime. Louder than any SEC stadium besides probably LSU and its got to be close.

I went to BDS in 2005 (Mike Shula's last year) and it did have its loud moments. It just didn't feel electric to me at all though like other stadiums that I have been to.

That was the most boring one versus two overtime game ever. Not many opportunities to get loud.
I agree that BDS could be louder for its size. I once had an old timer yell at me, saying "If some of you in the front would siddown, us here in the back could see!" That's the reason for the decibel issues. Not really a big deal though, as the fans don't actually impact the game.

I don't know why, but the MSU and Auburn games were a lot louder than the Game of the Century.
LSU 2013 was too.
