Like since the invention of basketball? How bout you do the last 30 years to make it a somewhat worthwhile stat. Betcha Bama isn't 3rd then.

People seem to forget that Wimp Sanderson had his run in the 80s/early 90s + Gottfried won a good amount in early 2000s

Combine that with their bad years being 16-18 wins instead of the 0-12win seasons like LSU just had and you can see how they have a winning record

UF almost for sure is #3 in past 30 years, but Alabama is probably a shoe in for #4 over that period

Exactly. That's completely looked over. We're basically all freshmen and sophomores too.

Probably. There is no bar low enough for auburn basketball. Hiring Pearl was proof of that.

Firing Pearl this year or next year would be a mistake Who else could they get to coach it if they're willing to part ways with an established coach like Pearl? Auburn's ride or die with Pearl, which will probably be paying off next year with a much better season. If Pearl doesn't work out, hell if Avery doesn't work out, schools like Alabama and Auburn should look for the next fast paced 40 minutes of hell coach or something because if we can't win with these guys we truly are coaching graveyards

Could not have said it better!

You trolling to change the focus of this thread to Calipari?

I doubt Alabama is ahead of Missouri and is probably neck and neck with Tennessee.

Rough guess total wins last 30 years

1. UK
2. UPig
3. Florida
4. Mizzou
5. Tennessee
6. Bama

No, "that guy" knows how to Google "schools ranked by number of college basketball wins". Takes about a minute or less to find. Google is a neat invention :)

My bad. As often as you rush to defend Bama's honor with the same stats I figured you had it memorized.

Calipari's final four appearance at Umass was vacated as was a season at Memphis.

A BBQ doesnt reach nearly as low into the scum of the barrel as Caliperi's recruiting.

Kentucky is king of the SEC in basketball. Nobody else is relevant.

Just because Kentucky is far above everyone else, doesn't mean other schools are irrelevant. Don't go overboard just because you disagree with him

Ya, I mean Florida has been relevant since Donovan + if White keeps this up.

When Arkansas decides to start acting like they have bball history consistently, we'd probably have 3 relevant teams

It's not a slight at your program. But it is what it is. Outside of the SEC, only a few teams get the recognition that they deserve. Florida got some with Donovan and LSU got some when big baby was there but other than that the outside perception has always been that the SEC was mostly a one team league.

Yes. 18 wins at Auburn is pretty damn good, especially with 4/5 starters being freshmen AND bringing in top recruiting classes

I'm good with Pearl being our coach

Didn't even take it that way, I think Florida fans have more to say about that statement being over the top if we are talking about recently.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned Florida's relatively recent success.
