A&M had a great first year under Sumlin.

Usually it goes: mediocre 1st, great 2nd.

So with a great 1st, A&M is looking towards a mediocre 2nd season.

Yeah........no

Question for the aggies - how much do you think losing the OC will hurt?

As I understand, Sumlin went through 3 OCs while at Houston. They did well every year except the year they lost their starting QB, his backup, and the third-stringer.

I don't know if losing KK will be a huge difference, but it apparently wasn't a problem at Cougar High.

I can't imagine losing KK is not going to hurt. I don't know how close he and Johnnny were/are, but it will take a little bit of time to adjust to a new guy. KK had to go because it was a great offer, and it has to at least hurt A&M in the short run

JFF don't need no stinkin' OC. He can bowl a perfect game with a marble.

They had one season with each other. They went through exactly one spring and one fall camp.

I don't doubt they were close, and I'd obviously wish KK wasn't gone. But we've seen nothing believe what's left can't be replaced.

Bama will rout Aggies next year
You can bet in the hours after the Notre Dame game Saban will begin his game plan to shut down Johnny Football and he also has to come through Tiger Stadium - good luck with that

JFF is more of a triple threat anyway. He can pass it, run it, and go up in the stands to frick your wife while you're getting a hot pretzel at the concession stand.

LSU should try to beat Bama before talking about other teams getting rolled over by them.

Don't both of those tackles have first round draft grades?

Yep and they could both come back and break one off in the SEC.

You guys really think two first round tackles are going to come back? Seems doubtful at best, they'd be risking millions of dollars.
