I care about all sports in which: (a) score is kept; and (b) the athletes are wearing TEXAS A&M.

So we only played twice in basketball? Was Ben Simmons' final game erased?

Now the argument changes to "well two of the big three now don't matter anymore"?

We would be more competative in the WAC too.

Maybe we should go to the WAC?

Brian Davis is a fricking idiot.

TAMU basketball is good, no doubt. I think we can all agree that talent wasn't really LSU's problem. Well, when it comes to players, anyways.

Not worried about LSU baseball, they were in Omaha a year ago.

Think of it this way, at least if you went back to the Big12 you *might have a chance.

Nah.

Think of it this way:

In the Big 12 we would be the fifth best Texas team in that conference for recruits- behind Baylor, Texas Tech, TCU, and Texas (due to brand only).

In the SEC we are the first best choice for programs in Texas in that conference. And the best part? We can never be lower than 1! Maybe LSU or Bama takes a Texas kid or two that we want, but no one is moving their campus to our borders. We have a monopoly.

The SEC move was the best thing we ever did, sorry if it fricked up your precious little conference.

They probably would have went undefeated and won the NC in 2012 if they'd been in the Big 12. Just being honest.

The only way an undefeated A&M plays for the 2012 National Title in a hypothetical Big 12 2012 season is if two of three things happen:

1. Anyone but an undefeated Alabama wins the SEC (Alabama's only loss in 2012 was to A&M)

2. Notre Dame loses

3. Oregon loses

A&M was well below Notre Dame and Kansas State in the "others receiving votes" category. Not only that, but they would have played Oklahoma in Norman (I was there the last time A&M won in Norman - 1997) and Texas in Austin and we know how IMPARTIAL the officials are in that series.

In the 00's when they had Mike Leach more people recognized them nationally. They even out recruited us during Tubs first year there.

Hell ten years ago no one would have debated Texas Tech, but they would have shite a brick with me putting Baylor (traditionally a Kentucky of the Big 12) on the list.

Point being coaching staffs change, but the conference situation won't change. Hence why we improved our conference situation to something that a Baylor or a Texas Tech can't copy.

Baylor is better than you by light years and Tech would give you all you could handle just like they always did. What are you talking about? You're the same team now that you were in the BIG XII with the same results.

Our all time record with them is a bloodbath.

Which is why I am glad they don't have the chance anymore.

Technically yes, we are a same team. Perception-wise our program is completely different.

Oh and we are still richer than a broke-as-frick-has-to ramp-down-projections-for-facilities OU.
