Their current dysfunction doesn't erase that they received those tangible benefits. What they've done with it is another thing altogether. Sumlin has thus far taken a grand opportunity and mismanaged it horribly but who in the B12 would TAMU have to compete with right now other than OU and maybe a resurgent Texas (although I think it might take another year for Strong to get things rolling there)? Baylor maybe?

Every SEC school except Mizzou was at least as good as Texas this year, who went 5=7 and beat the conference champ.
