It's a shot in the dark based on possibilities. Like saying Bo Scarbrough could win the Heisman. Neither have proven shite. At least in Bo's case he's stepping into a position on a team that has been ultra productive for 8 years straight and produced two Heisman winners.

Even if Harris is vastly improved, he won't take the spotlight from Fournette

Yards per attempt...lol. That's from all the deep passes he threw up for grabs and superior athletes like Dupre grabbed a lot of em. Brandon Harris is a below average quarterback. We all know it but we love the guy. We are all happy as hell knowing he is leading the LSU offense.

This is patently false.

His numbers are actually right in line with the vast majority of underclassmen starting QBs in the SEC in recent history. Of course, you have a few outliers like Manziel, Tebow and Aaron Murray.

Seven others? Hardly. If he makes the top 15-20 it would be a shock. Maybe in another system...

I don't think he wins it. Obviously Fournette will win it....Harris will finish 2nd

Hopefully the AtM game doesnt frick Harris since we dont need to pass in that auto W

But that will just solidify LF as the winner so not a bad deal

Someone really should write an "Onion article" for a thread. The responses would go for days

But the Tigers’ quarterback actually finished in the top five in the SEC last year in yards per attempt.

Hmmm...not bad. Until you consider that:

a) 2015 SEC QB play was pretty much average to below average vs. the other conferences.

b) Harris' YPA indicate that the long passes were there as a result of the quality of the LSU receivers, and/or

c) Les didn't trust his QB enough to allow Harris to throw very much.

This stat is clearly one that Choctaw was giddy over, yet he failed to understand the reason for Harris' stellar QB ranking.
