No matter what happened yesterday, you can't deny that UK got screwed out of a regional and #1 seed.

Miami sucks but somehow they went 4-0 vs Carolina and that is how they got a regional.

UK definitely deserved to host. But you can't criticize Miami without criticizing UK.

You certainly can. Kent State is no joke, and the game went 21 innings. Now, I know Stony Brook and Missouri State appear to be solid, but Miami is getting raped in their home stadium! No comparison.

Because Kentucky lost to Kent State. If you can criticize what happened to Miami yesterday and today, you can criticize Kentucky for what happened yesterday. If they deserved to host that bad, they should have taken care of Kent State.

So losing to the 3 seed by 1 run in 21 innings at a neutral site is comparable to losing 10-2 to the 4 seed and now losing 7-0 to 3 seed in 2nd inning at home. Got it.

The truth of it is somewhere inbetween IMO. Whether we should've hosted will come out in the wash depending on how the rest of our regional goes. I like to think we should have (and Gary, IN is awful) and that Kent State is a decent team (I believe they were on a 17 game winning streak coming in) but it is what it is.
That said, Miami sure as shite shouldn't have been hosting whether it would've went to us or someone else at this rate.

You watch a lot of baseball obviously. Doesn't matter the score in baseball. A lose is a lose. A team that is 50-2 could lose to a team that's 4-30 any day of the week in baseball.
At the end of the day it's an L.

Where did I say they were comparable? Or that Kentucky didn't deserve to host?
Quit putting words in my mouth. All I'm saying is Kentucky should take some flack for not winning their opener, when it was such a tragedy that they weren't picked to host.
