I will be watching. What are the general thoughts about this game from Auburn fans?
We don't know.
I mean, we should be pretty good. Good coaches, good talent, supposedly better toughness, more leadership, etc.
I would guess we'll win but I don't know what it'll look like.

I think Louisville is going to have 4 new starters on the O-Line, with 2 or 3 of them freshman. I think Boom will take advantage of that lack of experience and force Louisville's QB into bad decisions.
38-21 Auburn.
38-21 Auburn.

I'm pulling for Auburn to humiliate that arse and for Boom to punch out grantham in 50 yard line fisticuff.
That's what I'm feeling about it!

There is not team in the SEC that hates their former coaches more than UGA fans.

Loeffler is the only one of our former coaches that evokes that kind of emotion.

Petrino has never beaten an AU team with more than 8 wins.

They beat Auburn in 08 with a 5-7 record

What does that have to do with what he said?

I have no Ill feelings for him. He was put in a bad situation. Run a power offense with no players recruited for it. One and done. Not his fault

Yeah but he was a dick about it after he left. Comments about doing what he could with no talent. I think he marketed himself to be something he was not, and Chizik (and some of us) bought into it.

How are you discounting what Bobby still has to get together on his offense?

I believe they'll have a moderate chip on their shoulder to prove everyone wrong.
So that moderate chip outweighs the fact that The Lou lost their top 3 Wrs, have a new qb, and 3 new starters on offense.

Lemme get this straight...Louisville doesn't know who their quarterback will be, but whatever the answer to that question, he is not going to be any good. They replaced 4 out of 5 OL, 2 of which with TRUE freshman...they have a combined 6 starts on the OL, lost 2 of their top 3 ball carriers, and by far their best offensive weapon at WR, and a total of 4 offensive players to the NFL draft...and they are going to drop 38 on a Muschamp defense...one that is top to bottom better than last year talent wise.
I think you are wrong on the 21 points by Auburn but we'll see. Auburn scored less than 30 last year only twice. Only UGA stymied the AU offense. Louisville lost 6 defensive players to the NFL draft..sorry, but that's not a formula for putting a better product on the field.
You are a troll...I fell for it.
AU 34-Louisville 17

Petrino is also undefeated in his collegiate season openers. 10-0.
I know you picked Auburn, but have you really looked at who his opening games were all ten years?
Let's just say it has never been a ranked team like Auburn.
