Firstly, Alabama didn't score but 7 in the 4th quarter. Secondly, the way Alabama attacked Clemson offensively in the 4th is the point. They had effectively begun to get significant yardage with Bo (yds. after contact) and as in their other games, eat the 4th quarter clock up in the process. There's no doubt that the 99 plays Clemson ran wore down the Alabama defense and made their victory possible, and I firmly believe that Bo's presence in the 4th quarter would have greatly influenced the outcome..along with 4th quarter time of possession....but we'll never know for sure.

Bo was gashing Clemson,
The two long runs he had were unreal blocking plays. I think Harris scores on both of those

Do you agree that the important aspect would have been his affect on the way Alabama executed their 4th quarter plan?

I was watching coach film room version of game. They made it seem like a big deal. Is there really that big of a drop off for second team or more a talking point?

Are you stupid? Bo for the last three or 4 games had been by far the most productive back. I think Harris is a good back, but Bo had been on a different level lately.

No complaints. Us Bama fans aren't bitches like Texas fans and we know they weren't likely to win the game regardless with Hurts at QB.

I agree that Alabama could have run more clock in the 4th with Bo. I just dont think it was a devastating loss that left bamas offense unable to score.

I'm not saying that it was. I'm saying that Alabama could have PROBABLY controlled the clock and kept Clemson's offense off the field while resting their defense.

Are Bama fans saying if Bo plays we win? That's just bullshite.

Your offense goes fricking 0-11 on third down conversions any defense in the country is going to wear down. Now couple that with trying to defend the best QB in the league and its tough to overcome in a brutal match up like that.

It was a Big deal only because if you watched our last three games he was our offense. It would have been the equivalent of losing Henry last year. I don't know whether we win or not but considering he had broke two big runs for a score I like our chances. Part of being the best team though is developing the depth needed. Once Scarborough figured it out he was obviously our best back. Harris looked great but that appears to be mostly against teams that struggles against the run. Bo struggled against no one.

I think _____ team would have had a better chance of winning without losing their starting running back. Doesn't mean they win.

Colt was one of the most decorated QBs in Texas' history so they had a right to complain when they had to put in their inexperienced back up in the most important game of the year.

He scored our most clutch touchdown of the night with two minutes left in the game. In virtually any other game that should have been the game winner. Yeah he had a horrible night but don't act like he was the reason we lost when he practically saved us on our last offensive drive.

I think the point is that if he is in that Alabama has a better chance of getting first downs and not doing that in the first quarter.

its tough to overcome, and harder when your main offensive player goes down. These are just factors I think Clemson was the better all around team in the end. I think they got a bit of the injury bug last year and Alabama did this year. shite happens
