Sounds like every Bama QB since Namath.

Dak drew Bama's defense

Which hasn't been as good as years past. This is going to be the first time since 2007 that Alabama's defense doesn't finish ranked in the Top 5 in total defense.

Yep, good ole Game Manager Blake Sims. Just a regular ole Greg McElroy.

If you think Prescott is anything more than a good system QB then you are tragically mistaken. He is a poor man's Tim Tebow.

Dak is a fierce leader and earned the reputation of such. Sims is a Saban hand puppet who is very talented, but isn't as effective out in front of the team.

So was Tim Tebow. Tim Tebow led his team to a national championship and was a big contributor in another. Dak Prescott couldn't even win the West.

Dak Prescott = Poor Man's Tim Tebow

I'm pretty sure the majority of the team would disagree with you as they just elected him to be one of their permanent team captains. You also saw how much the team loves and respects him when he came out of the game on Saturday.

It's also notable that Sims drew Florida (good defense that he absolutely shredded)

I think I remember WRs being so open nobody else was even within 10 yards of guys. Busted assignments all over the place. Don't mean to diminish what the Sims did there, but any competent QB would have looked good that day against Florida.

The difference between Alabama's defense and State's defense isn't particularly large. Sims also faced Mizzou.

Unique SEC opponent defense rank by defensive SRS:

Prescott - Alabama (5th), Vandy (69th), UK (84th)
Sims - Mizzou (9th), State (12th), Florida (20th), UT (31st)

I never said he wasn't getting there, but Dak has been the man for quite some time now at MSU. Sims wasn't shite until the aTm game. That's the difference..

Blake has been the man with those guys since the day AJ McTat left campus.

I've already admitted to being trolled hard in here. The melt was a natural progression. Doesn't change the fact that Sims got robbed. Hopefully the coaches will be able to RECtify the situation.

Well sure, but not with his teammates, which is what we were discussing.

Its not so much falling back as being confused over why you would compare a star QB and a decent QB...

Yea you heard that from stupid internet posters with no ties to the team. Believe it or not, we don't have our fingers on the pulse of the locker room.

So his 400+ yard performance against Florida in the first SEC game of the season never happened?

Not as much as his 1 point victory over Arky.

Or his 5 point victory over Mississippi State? Too bad the season didn't end in October.
