Not only is Dak better, but he's light years more effective as a team leader than Blake.
NOW YOU'VE DONE IT

I mean, congrats on the impressive stats against UAB, South Alabama, Southern Miss and UT-Martin
Remind me of those OOC juggernauts Bama played again.

It's also notable that Sims drew Florida (good defense that he absolutely shredded) and UT (decent defensively) while Dak had Vandy (terrible defensively) and UK (somehow even worse).
You are just cherry picking stats.
Right RB10?

Blake was the better throwing qb and the stats prove it
Not saying that in this particular situation it isn't true, but objectively, stats do not prove who is a better throwing QB. Do you think that a QB in an air raid type offense is necessarily a better passer just because he puts up video game-like stats?

Sure it makes sense when trying to push your narrative.
Dak padded stats against the likes of UT-Martin, UAB, and Southern Miss. Of those three teams, one is an FCS team, one won't be playing football ever again, and the other has won 4 games in 3 years.

We aren't because we aren't including Blake's stats from those games. He played roughly 8 of the 16 quarters in those 4 games.

That's not really stats, that's a scheduling issue, so no.
More total yards, more total TDs, and in one less game. Only stats that really matter here.
Sims was a slightly more effective passer while Prescott was a much more effective runner. End of discussion.

At least one of ours was from a Power 5 conference.

Saying Sims is the better passer (he had Cooper for gods sake) is true, but Dak was more than marginally better with his legs.. so
The panel got the award nominees so wrong. They should've listened to a bunch of bama necks on a message board if you ask me..

Fantastic. Now just admit Sims had a better year and case for first team all-SEC and we can all go home happy.

Was it Sims that had more total yards and TDs? Because if not, I don't see how he's more deserving.
ETA: I think you're cherry picking my posts Patton.

Well if one player runs the ball 122 more times than the other, I hope he is more than marginally better. Dak Prescott ran the ball 195 times compared to Blake Sim's 73 attempts.
TJ Yeldon, our leading rusher, didn't even have as many attempts as Prescott did.

Don't coaches call plays towards a QBs strength?
If Sims was a little more than a good system QB he would've been nominated.

Dak drew Bama's defense, so your argument is terrible.

If you think Prescott is anything more than a good system QB then you are tragically mistaken. He is a poor man's Tim Tebow.

Well in that case I'm guessing you agree Kiffin should be a stone cold lock for the Broyles award. You know, since it is his plug and play system and all.
