It's not even comparable because y'all hate Alabama too much to give their players the credit when they have earned it. This website was so off about Sims that it is impossible for them to admit their preconceived notions about him in the preseason and early in the year, were hilariously wrong.

Nah he's just Anthony Jennings with a great WR

Kind of like Bama fans are bad arse at cherry picking stats.
I'll ask for a third time to please compare the two quarterbacks numbers against conference opponents. I'm not even asking you to post them. Just take a look.

It is what it is. If you still have those conference stats of both Qbs laying around now would be an excellent time to post them.

He really is. How many of those long passing plays you just listed screens or throws to a wide open Cooper?
Sims never made any plays that left people speechless. Cooper did several times though.

I know y'all love hypotheticals so try this one on for size. LSU would be undefeated with Blake Sims taking snaps for them.

This is the definition of cherry picking stats. Dak's overall numbers are better so let's just use SEC stats.
It's too bad the awards committees don't use conference stats only I guess.

The same goes for the hiring of Kiffin. People just couldn't laugh hard enough about that one.

In OOC play? Maybe. I don't know if he would have brought LSU back vs. Wisconsin.

True. But his poise and calm on a lot of those pressure intensive drives did.

Yea I'm cherry picking out the games where both QBs played embarrassing level of competition. Neither faced a OOC team worth a shite. It makes much more sense to cherry pick the stats each put up against the same opponent save two different east teams.

I mean, congrats on the impressive stats against UAB, South Alabama, Southern Miss and UT-Martin.

Yes LSU fan, bring up his ability to lead his team back. Excellent point.

It's also notable that Sims drew Florida (good defense that he absolutely shredded) and UT (decent defensively) while Dak had Vandy (terrible defensively) and UK (somehow even worse).
Sims had one of his best games of the season, setting records along the way, against one of the best defenses in the country in Mizzou while Dak was sitting at home because he threw three picks against Alabama.

Sure it makes sense when trying to push your narrative.

Not only is Dak better, but he's light years more effective as a team leader than Blake.

I got no problem with Prescott > Sims. He had a great year, is a great player and seems like a solid dude.
But this idea that Sims throws toss pass sweeps to Cooper 97% of the time is laughably stupid, yet typical.
