Cool response thread. TCU beat us by 39 in a New Years bowl game. Oklahoma, a conference rival, doubled that deficit. 77 fricking points. 77. If LSU nearly put up 80 on us I would never attend another Ole Miss sporting event for the rest of my life and would be on board with just doing away with the program

77-0. How embarrassing

I was at the game. We were dominated. We lost 4 games last year. Two of those losses were last minute heartbreakers against good teams. The other two we got beat soundly.

We won our other 9 games by good margins.

I thought it was a good season.

Why would I burn all of my gear? Is that what you guys do after a tough loss? Sounds like your fan culture is pretty weak.

Wow. Tough talk regarding a team that doesn't have a quarterback!

I went. I stayed for the whole game. I took the beat down they gave us. Drove home put my Ole Miss polo in the washer and said. Whelp let's see what next year holds.

I love my Rebels and OM more than most things. But I also have a wife and son and friends and family and a house and a job and a life outside of football. So no losing a game 42-3 really doesn't affect me that negatively at all.

But I'm glad that we affect your life enough that you find time to worry about us so much. Good thread. Will read again

I was at that game. The dome sucks

Didn't go to that game, but I went to the one vs Boise State in Atlanta. I'll never go back to that POS dome for another game. Good thing they're building a new one though, should be 100 times better.

TCU is the premier program in Texas. They play defense too.

If we are going to bring up embarrassing shite that other programs did to our own programs, I'm just going to throw in the fact that you've only beaten alabama 10 fricking times. I would do the same if we have been in a conference with someone for over 100 years and only beaten them 10 times

It's newer than VH. Curious as to how it can be that bad that quickly? How does VH seem so much better than the Ga Dome (assuming that you go to VH)?

ETA - these domes just don't seem to last as long. I can remember when the Astrodome was the big deal back in the 60s and the Superdome opened in 76. It probably would have been razed had Katrina and FEMA not stepped in. Our stadium is 100 years old. Why do dome stadiums only last 40 or so years when outdoor venues last much longer?

Except they lost to Baylor, who happens to be back to back conference champs.

I'm not comparing it to VHS. Why would I compare it to a small college stadium. I'm comparing to other NFL stadiums. It's pretty shitty IMO. I'm glad they're building a new one.

ETA: VHS isn't that great of a stadium, but I've been to every home game the past 5 years, and it's awesome at VHS in the student section during games. Way more fun than the Ga. Dome.
