Well you're right I guess. Haven't won a single game.

2 deep released for Nicholls State

Attached is the two deep released for the opening game for the Ducks.

Armstead beat out Heimuli at DT. The ILB spots are occupied by Hardrick and Malone - glad to see these guys grab the spots. Three true frosh make the depth chart in Johnny Mundt (TE), Tyrell Robinson (ILB) and Cameron Hunt (RT).

What about mississippi state in 2001?

ETA - dont even have to go that far...had Boise State in 2008. These were the peak Boise State years.

But 5 years is 4 years too many without a decent non conference game at Autzen. Kansas State wussed out of a home and home.

I think its a mistake to overestimate Oregon, its still little boy football without a grown up defense...

We had a damn good defense last year. Led the country in interceptions.

Yards allowed will forever be skewed against us because of how quickly our offense scores. When you lead the country in touchdown drives of two minutes or less, your opponent is naturally going to get a LOT of possessions and opportunities to put up more yards.

O/U is 72.5 and the spread 24.5, which puts the scoreline about 48-24 or 49-24.

Tenn fans - you think you get 24 points of offense?

Why?

I haven't watched the WKU game yet but Worley and the passing game doesn't seem like a threat and Oregon should be able to load the box.

Watch a highlight, I think we put up 24+ but the speed you guys have is nasty.

DLine should force some pressue on Mariota and collapse the pocket at times, but I'm more worried about what he does on the scramble

The offense simply works. What's funny about it is that we don't yet have any breakout stars yet but we have a team whose chemistry is great and won't quit in the face of adversity. They won't get deflated if Oregon puts up a lot of points early -- praise the Lord Dooley is gone and Jones has the ability to get even average kids to run through walls for him . We have a good run game and several targets passing -- again no big stars yet.

It's also a very, very, disciplined team. I don't really expect us to win but I fully expect us to compete the entire game.

Are you familiar with the Oregon defense?

Yeah I saw a very bad Viriginia o-line man handle your defensive line running the ball the first quarter.

But this game will have nothing to do with the Oregon D and Tennessee offense as well all know so its irrelevant. Worley will float some lame ducks to the Oregon DBs though.

Run the ball and control the clock. Oregon seems to struggle against big physical lines, both offense and defense. See Stanford game last year.
