Simmons was correct in that Auburn rolls Toomer's corner and the state of Alabama votes Republican. The implication that these are connected and are indicative of an ignorant population is incorrect.
I hate to defend Auburn, but rolling Toomer's corner is a harmless tradition and has nothing to do with intelligence. Sports fandom is not unique to the South and is not a rational exercise. He points a finger at Auburn while likely wearing the same pair of Larry Bird underwear for every big game. He is engaging in confirmation bias.
Voting Republican also does not make you stupid or racist. Voting can't make you a good person, either. Your actions make you what you are, not your vote.

when global warming peole realized they had lost that debate, they started talking about climate change and global weriding. in this way, they can never be wrong, b/c the climate is always doing weird things.

wearing orange to a Clemson game is a bit differen than wearing an orange outfit when you are running for president and doing a presser about a criminal investigation involving you. she has no self awareness or judgement. people think she is a criminal yet she is wearing orange. she's obviously not a bright person

yes but even when it is in the 90s, it is a nice day. there is nothing to be alarm about. in december and january in SC, there are are always abnormally warm days. nobody except enviro-kook lefties is complaining about it.
