It's pretty clear that Jamarcus Russell is easily the biggest first round bust of all time at QB.
What's not so obvious is that there's a running back from the SEC who was potentially an EVEN BIGGER NFL bust for the team that drafted him.
Who is that you might ask?
Bo Jackson.
He was drafted #1 overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1986. He refused to play for the team and was later drafted by the Raiders in the 7th round.
As the #1 overall pick he recorded no stats at all for Tampa Bay. Perhaps he was better only in that he didn't cost them a salary either.
He finished up his NFL run with only 2,782 yards.

Also a little know fact about B-B-Bo
making fun of a dude who has dedicated a large portion of his time helping communities that were fricked up by the tornadoes sure makes you seem cool. Especially considering a lot of it has been in north alabama

This place would be a nice place to discuss sports if it wasn't for all the dumbasses.

This has been discussed before. probably many many times. You missed out and you are a troll so no one is going to legitimately discuss this with you.
Sorry.
Sorry.

Auburn Alabama, where pointing out facts is considered trolling.
Here's a few more..
For more on the Bo Jackson is horribly overrated as a football player:
Let's compare 4 running backs though their junior seasons.
386 carries, 2,956 yards, 7.7 ypc, 20 TD Rushing, 3 receiving, 4 ko
994 carries, 5,259 yards, 5.3 ypc, 49 TD Rushing, 3 receiving
372 carries, 2,517 yards, 6.8 ypc, 26 TD Rushing, 2 receiving
785 carries, 4,590 yards, 5.8 ypc, 41 TD Rushing, 2 receiving, 1 ko, 7 passing
In case anyone is confused.. that's Felix Jones, Herschel Walker, Bo Jackson and Darren Mcfadden. Only Bo Jackson played his senior year, his best season... his Heisman season.
Here's another little tidbit.
Peyton Hillis, Felix Jones and Darren Mcfadden played in the NFL. Which of these backs had more yards in the NFL than Bo Jackson?
All of them.
Darren Mcfadden was 20 years old when he played his last game as a Razorback.
Felix Jones was 20 years old when he played his last game as a Razorback.
Herschel Walker was 20 years old when he played his last game as a Georgia Bulldog.
Bo Jackson was 20 years old when he played his last game as a FRESHMAN at Auburn.

You're spending a lot of time on the bait with not a single bite. Is this upsetting?

So, can you find a bigger running back bust from the SEC?
Do some research.

This. Top 10 pick I believe (or close to it) and finished career with the lowest ypc in NFL history at 3.0

Haddix managed 8 seasons in the NFL and 6 with the team that drafted him. He's not even the consensus worst pick of the Eagles.
Now Bo. 3 years in the NFL, zero with the team that drafted him #1 overall. No argument from Tampa fans that he was their worst pick ever.

What? Do tell.
And do it without the patronizing stuttering you heartless cruel frick. You've heard of karma kickbacks, right? You're bordering dangerously close to throat cancer or tongue AIDS or cheese gums or something gumper. There are boundaries around here.
