Are his knuckles whats touching the ball? You sure? Looks like his fingertips to me.

Looks like he's definitely securing the ball with his right hand to me.
His thumb and index finger were the only ones touching when he hit the ground

Thanks for posting the video. Looks like Williams got it with two hands, both shoulders hit the ground therefore down, then reid steals it. Like the filthy Louisiana trash that he is. Clearly a blown call.

Looks pretty clear to me that Williams was bobbling the ball on the way down. Reid gets his hand between Williams right hand and the ball. Reid pulls the loose ball away to take possession for the INT.
Easy to see. Thats why the call on the field was CONFIRMED rather than "stands".

And then go to 2:05. "After further review, the ruling on the field is confirmed. Interception. First down LSU."
Decent troll attempt though with the pics

You can't convince a Gump that something is or isn't, when it doesn't go in their favor.
I sure the kick 6 was a blown call in their eyes as well.

Maybe if Williams wasn't such a Beta he would have held onto the ball. He left it up for grabs the entire way down. Reid just wanted it more.

Maybe if Reid wasn't born in Louisiana he wouldn't have such ingrained generate fricked up tendencies like thievery

Love discussing these, but still shots are meaningless for both of these plays.

you've got to use more nuance than this. It's too much

I know most of these are trolls, but one way to look at it is if Reid isn't in the area, and the exact same thing happens (Williams gets two hands on it, goes to the ground while it slips out without complete control) and as he hits the ground, the ball comes out and hits the turf, it would be incomplete. Meaning he didn't have possession

Reid told one of my good friends who played futbol with him growing up that Williams basically just let go. That's unacceptable. Dude let himself get pwned on that one, hard to feel sympathetic.

You know, why do Bama fans whine about plays that were called correctly when they lose, then make fun of LSU fans who whine about some of the worst calls ever when they win. I just don't understand
Posted on 11/5/15 at 2:40 pm to mostbesttigerfanever
Reid made the pick. The PP pass was incomplete as previously mentioned due to being touched by an eligible receiver out of bounds. PP's position on the field was irrelevant.

quote:No. It seems clear to me that the bobble was started by Reid reaching the ball. Williams had two hands firmly on either side of the ball up until that point.
if Reid isn't in the area, and the exact same thing happens
Edit: I see what you are saying. Theoretically if he bobbles it and loses it it is incomplete. I agree.
