IF the NCAA hits them with a 2 year post season ban, players can transfer out with no penalty.

Yep, that plus the scholly reduction will take quite a while to bounce back from.

Us having a united front in our allegations video with Freeze, AD, and chancellor shows we are going down with the ship and not throwing Freeze under the bus

I agree with this, they are going to do everything they can to keep him.

Bowl revenue isn't the only thing they are going to be losing these next few years.

Unless they take a sharp drop in attendence or get some huge fine from the NCAA they really won't take any big hit financially.

Like IP said, bowl revenue loss is minor in the scheme of things.

The biggest separation we are having here is you believe Freeze is a better coach than I do.

I think and have for a while, that Freeze is the best on the field Coach in the SEC. He would have been in the Playoffs in 2014, if not for the injury to Treadwell. What he has done at Ole Miss far outshines any of the other coaches, with the exception of Saban. Then apply in the Ole Miss Factor, and you see my logic.

Having a desperate, stupid, ill-advised pass miraculously bounce off a defender into a WR's hands for a touchdown is certainly great coaching.

The violations aren't what piss me off necessarily. It's that they lied to boosters and alumni. That pissed me off more than anything else in the whole situation.

Ya, I just don't see that at all. I certainly think he is a good coach but I saw too many questionable calls/decisions. 2015 Memphis and Arkansas game stand out. I will admit that my view is a little bias because Arkansas has had success against Freeze.

This loses its luster with the type of talent he had in the years you are talking about. Like I said earlier though, I still think he is a good coach.

it can hinder planned progress. 10 million a year can put a damper on things especially when you have bonds and planned construction. It's not like it's going to bankrupt a program, but a big stall when others are advancing can be a killer. especially when you are behind the pack from the get go

I mean it is all in how you are looking at it. Is it going to be a huge issue in keeping the status quo? No but that is going to hurt advancements in other areas. It will also be interesting to see what the donations are going to be in those years. I think its safe to assume it is going to drop. I have always thought the scholarship loss was going to be the biggest issue. That depth is huge in the SEC and I don't think some are going to understand it until it is happening.

A lot depends on what the NCAA says behind closed doors. Ohio St probably would have wanted to keep Tressel, but they were going to get drilled if that happened. If the NCAA thinks Ole Miss is being defiant, they will kill them.
