So it is only a split poll if the AP says so. Talk about moving the goal post. If you remember, the AP took their trophy away from USC in O4, so I guess AU would have an argument based on your criteria.

In 1998 College Football adopted the BCS. By doing so, it made all the other polls irrelevant in January. I'm sure you can find a AU fan who wants to recognize Golf Magazine 04 Championship, but their poll means about the same. Who won the NC in 2004?

I disagree with the OP because UGA has it's rightful place in the Big 6 but it's not hard to see the point he was, albeit unsuccessfully, attempting to make. There isn't a football program out there, that has done so little with so much than UGA football. You dawgs are lying to yourselves if you think otherwise. Has to suck to see AU winning championships, when UGA has so many more natural/built in advantages.
