The last time each of the Big 6 played for a National Championship:

Alabama-2015
Auburn-2013
Florida-2008
Georgia-1981
LSU-2011
Tennessee-1998

Is there a real argument on who actually belongs ?

The "big 6" isn't determined by who has played for a national title, so this is stupid.

UGA is a sleeping giant.

Big school in talent rich state.

If they had the "commitment" of Alabama, they could win multiple natties per decade.

My bad, I forgot about Clemson in 1981.

Why are you using national title appearances when they have nothing to do with the "big 6"?

How does it feel knowing a backup QB stealing a laptop is the only reason you've been relevant the last decade?

I typically don't humor lame attempts like this, but just for fun (numbers taken prior to the 2015 season):

All time wins (place nationally)
777 Georgia (14)
734 Auburn (19)

All time win percentage
Georgia - .648
Auburn - .630

All Time SEC Titles
Georgia - 12
Auburn - 8

Bowl Game Appearances
Georgia - 50
Auburn - 38

Bowl game wins
Georgia - 28
Auburn - 22

BCS Bowl Appearances
Georgia - 3
Auburn - 3

"Claimed" national titles
Georgia - 2
Auburn - 2

Hmmmm....good question, maybe one of us doesn't really belong..

What that proves is UGAs football program has been "slightly" more consistent over the years than AU. The fact that they are the State University in a talent rich state and are just "slightly" more consistent is a damning statement. I am not saying they are not a member of the Big 6. Just not as embedded as some UGA fans want you to think.

UGA was the ONLY Big 6 program who didn't even play for a BCS title.
