BIg 12 actually makes more money than the sec per school. BIg 12 conference money doesn't include tier three rights. For OU that is another 12 -15 mil. Even West Virginia makes more than any sec school. Problem has never been about money it's been about exposure from a combined network for recruiting purposes mainly. There is a perception that will not change unless the Big 12 changes its current thinking of keeping tier 3 rights to each school who ,ales the money.

You're missing a really large part of the thread that is OU and UT posters trying to convince us all how awesome the big 12 is!!! It's awesome guys!!! Really!!!!

I won't speak for Arkansas, but to get LSU, Texas would have to ditch the LHN, and agree to move the conference office out of Texas.
Wouldn't matter where to, just out of Texas. We both know that neither things will happen, but I can just about promise you that LSU would be amenable to the right offer.

We aren't stuck anywhere or at anything. Aggot is stuck in the SEC West getting trained by Bama and LSU. That's what being stuck looks like.

I don't think you want a team from Virginia or NC in the sec recruiting wise...if they can stay home and play in the sec, why leave home as often as they do? Would just benefit home state school, esp if it's the state University.

I really wouldn't be shocked to see OU & ku added to the SEC. I just don't think the big 2 conferences will wait for the ACC contract to expire. I don't think there's anyway A&M would allow Texas to come in. Nobody else form the B12 is worth a thing.

shite, at least tamu was smart enough to leave the shitty conference called the big 12. They made the smartest decision in their athletic dept history coming to the SEC. Hey, why don't you ask tamu fans are they happy they made the jump or not? Ask them if they like being in the SEC (a real conference) over being in the big 12 (a lower-tier conference)? I'm sure they will say frick the big 12 and their busch league bullshite. The big12 cannot match up with the SEC. Like our conference slogan says...It Just Means More. frick the big 12, it's a sorry league. Props to tamu for being smart enough to leave. That's the one and only time I will talk good about A&M, but this is for a greater cause. Lol.

Oklahoma will never be in the sec. OU would be just another team in the SEC. OU is a big fish in a small pond, known as the big 12. In the SEC, OU would just be an average fish in a large pond. OU has inflated success because of the joke of a league they play in and that's the truth. Do a comparison of the teams in the big 12 vs the teams in the SEC and get back to me.
