Easily LSU. But I'm biased. I'd go with LSU over any SEC coaching job, personally.

IMO, LSU.

Sure Florida has a great recruiting base but they have to compete with Miami, FSU, UGA, Auburn, Bama, etc.
LSU gets Louisiana all to themselves and really owns their state recruiting wise except for a few here and there. Plus, they are good enough to snag some blue chippers out of Texas most years as well.

If Florida had a few losing seasons in a row, recruiting would start to get much tougher for them. LSU will always get the cream of the Louisiana crop.

Plus I feel they are a more passionate fanbase and a very unique place to be a HC at.

Now after having said that, LSU can go to hell.

LSU.

All of the Katrina Cajuns who came through Alabama (some never left) are some of the best folks I've ever met. Crazy as hell, but in a good way. They love LSU matter what. Florida fans, not so much.
The rantard LSU folks that stir this forum is not the typical LSU fan in real life - sorry if some of you want us to think otherwise.

Florida is slightly a better job, but it's not by much. Better recruiting base, yes, but LSU has a really, really good one.

Better fan support, no. LSU just sold out a new expansion of 65 new suites at $69,000 donation per year and 3500 new club seats at $2500 donation per year all in the Upper Deck of the End Zone in 3 months.

When is the last time Florida has paid their head coach and staff more money than LSU has? I think 1999 with Spurrier.

Who cares if they have more wealthy boosters. TAF is extremely well funded and LSU has easily raised cash to build plush football facilities over the last 12 years. LSU has over 12,000 on their season ticket waiting list even after an expansion has been sold out.

Both are Top jobs and both have proven they can win multiple championships with different head coaches.

Definitely wasn't true in the 90s.

LSU has the winning band wagon rolling.

All you have to do is look at the basketball program to see how quickly the bandwagon is parked when the wins decline.

LSU built the east upper deck expansion of 12,000 extra seats and suites during the 1998 and 1999 seasons. All were sold out prior to the 2000 season. Go back and look at LSU's records in 98 and 99.

Florida fans stay after halftime

Seriously though, this is a dumb question/debate. Florida is the better job, but they're both elite at the moment and close enough where it doesn't even matter.

It's like discussing which is the better job out of OSU, Tejas, & u$c. All are elite and who cares? Actually, that'd be a better topic to discuss than this.

LOL, so Florida didn't see a mass exodus for the gates during the BGSU game like LSU saw during the Troy game of 08?
