I don't know what you do with 2010 Bama. Since we're talking about teams, and not just talent, I'd leave them off. But they certainly had the players to play with anybody.

Not in the era but the 2001 UT team was LOADED...they only had to beat LSU in SECCG and they woulda played Miami in the Rose Bowl...not one of fat Phils better efforts.

I agree with this, but I would swap 09 UF and 07 Georgia.
And yes, 06 LSU was better than '11 LSU.

2006 LSU was awesome. My favorite non AU SEC team ever.
Offense was extremely talented, but Saban or the O-cordinator fricked them over in the AU game (probably some others as well).
Defense was simply all world and one of the best I've seen.
It was a scary team you did not want to ever have to line-up against. AU never recovered the rest of the season after that game.

I know it's not in the title run but 04 AU should get a name drop here. That team was stacked and got the shaft like crazy.
