I actually thought 2011 Arky was better than the 2010 version.

USCe did crush UGA, but they weren't that close in either of their losses

You can't say this about LSU-USC game and say the LSU-A&M game was very close. Point wise, the USC game closer and both had a late TD scored against us with about 90 seconds left(give or take)

I'd swap 07 and 12 Georgia but besides that this looks the best. I had to look up 2006 LSU though, forgot about them.

A&M had a 12-0 lead over LSU at one point though. Even though LSU beat SC by a mere 2 points, there was never a time in that game I felt South Carolina legitimately threatened them.

That was a tough game to watch. LSU controlled the ball pretty much the entire game but SC did just enough to hang around and keep us within 'striking distance' to the point where we might be able to steal the game away. But it was not to be.

Off-season moral victory: I guess that shows how far SC has come.. goes into LSU.. get dominated off the ball but still talented and determined enough to keep fighting tooth and nail until the end.

Weren't we up 14-10 going into the 4th?

After the 1st quarter A&M did nothing but turn the ball over. I think USC had a lead over us at halftime. For both, I actually think the score than the actual game.

You were. But LSU had been controlling the football game pretty consistently despite the score. Alabama was up on Florida in the '08 SECCG 20-17 going into the 4th but I never legitimately felt we had a shot to pull the game out.

That's the same way I felt about the SC-LSU game this past year.

Yea, especially in the 2nd half y'all had a tough time stopping the run. Our o-line finally had a chance to start showing some consistency in that game.

Not that we'll never know because this is pure speculation but that is one of those cases where I sat there and thought post-game.. man.. if that game was in Columbia.. we would've come out with a W.

Yeah if I remember correctly your D killed our D because LSU's defense was getting our offense off the field so quick our defense spent way too much time on the field. In the 2nd half they simply couldn't do it alone anymore and after a bunch of close stops our defense finally gave way.

Ok? Except we're comparing A&M and SC in terms of how we would rank their seasons and how they would rank among the SEC seasons that didn't win it all.

are you retarded? You used a Bama game as a reference with the transitive property when it made SC look good, but when he offered an example where it didn't make SC look good, you go full retard?

Never go... And the transitive property doesn't work in football, so quit using it.

The UGA team from 2007 was just sick. LSU was damn lucky to not have to face that team.

That would have been an epic SECCG. Damn you Kentucky for missing that FG against UT.

It was a shame a UGA/USC Rose bowl couldn't happen either. We get Hawaii and they get Illinois when every fan wanted to see that showdown.

As an Arkansas fan, I would have to say our '10 team was better than '11 despite finishing 10-3 while '11 finished 11-2.

The '10 team had a chance to win all three games that we lost but the '11 team got blasted in both losses. Now '11 LSU and Bama were much better than '10 Bama and Ohio St but still the '10 Arkansas team had a more complete feel to it as a team overall. We had a lights out passing game and a very solid run game with Davis where we could actually line up in power sets and pound the ball. The '11 team had to go 4/5 wide most of the season because we really had no threat of a run game under center.

It could probably be argued both ways but in my opinion '10 was just a much more well rounded team. I think that was the only time here that Petrino was able to use his entire Playbook.

Uh, no. I used the SECCG to make UGA look good to make SC's win more impressive. That was to compare how good SC's win over UGA actually was and why SC's season was as good as A&Ms.

Your 'Bama-Michigan game has absolutely nothing to do with the "who had a better season, A&M or SC?" argument.

Your 'retarded' argument looks like this. A&M's season was better because their win over Bama is more impressive because Bama destroyed Michigan and SC barely beat Michigan?

So to compare SC and A&Ms seasons your saying... A&M > Bama > SC > Michigan?

How is 2004 Auburn not #1? THat team had 4 1st rounders on it, including 3 in the backfield. 10 guys on the offense alone went on to play in the NFL.
