If their defense improves drastically, they'll still be average.

You should try thinking out of the box.

well if Chavis is heads and shoulders better than Steele than we should see a pretty drastic improvement in A&Ms defense and a drastic drop off at LSU this year right?

because its not going to happen

The fact is that we could see a dramatic improvement in A&M's defense, and a dramatic drop-off in LSU's defense, and LSU's defense would still be better than A&M's.

I don't see how that is debatable.

The question in this thread is the offense though. It seems like LSU has more room to improve on offense, but I think our offense will show more improvement overall.

Let's just list a bunch of names and say how awesome they are!

Outside of Treadwell who will unfortunately lose a step after his injury there's no All SEC talent on there. Pfft Maybe Damarkus Lodge.

Not to derail the derail, but I'm excited about what Enos is bringing to the Arkansas offense. He appears to be opening things up a bit, and bringing plays that compliment our personnel.

We have our solid RBs who you all know, and our OL should be better than last yr.

Our best TE this spring has been Sprinkle--not HH--which could be pretty scary for opposing defenses. Gragg has some skills as well.

Our WRs are not spectacular, but are quite solid and capable of moving the chains or burning your secondary on play-action.

B Allen is still the QB, and won't be winning the Heisman this year

BUT, he is a 5th yr senior who should continue to be solid if unspectacular. Solid QB play should be enough to make us pretty salty. I'm not buying any koolaid; if we had a stud QB, we'd have a legit shot at winning the SEC.

We don't, so we will peak around 9 regular season wins or so and be a very tough out for anyone we play.

Defense should continue to be tough.
