So, is TE included with WR?

Ole Miss is easily one of the best WR units w/o including TE, but if TE is incorporated with WR's, holy shite...how do you guys not have Ole Miss at the top?

And I'm not being a homer. This is the only unit I'm putting us up for. I think our DL could be near the top, but we have to replace Nkemdiche and CJ Johnson, so definitely question marks.

But,

Engram
Stringfellow
Lodges
Pack
Adeboyejo
Jefferson
AJ Brown
DK Metcalf

you made reference that LSU's Oline and Dline got whipped in it's three losses.

You got two of the three right. ole miss not so much.

My post was about one position group Oline. LSU will have top 3 Oline in SEC. Returns three full time starters and a couple more with SEC starting experience.

As for the LSU "D" in general and Dline in particular.

LSU finished fourth in SEC rush "D". Return ALL Dlinemen that played meaningful snaps last season.

As for production returning along the Dline, LSU returns three players with 40+ tackles, bama 0. Could very well finish in top two in '16.

On the defense as a whole. LSU finished fifth in conference in total "D". Returns NINE starters. Could very well finish top two in '16.

you list eight WRs for the rebs. Familiar with four of them. Could you post stats for lodges, jefferson, brown and metcalf.

See, I totally agree here. I think they will too. I was responding to the "LSU O-line will be best LOL Bammers" stuff.

Dline, Could very well finish in top two in '16.

Don't disagree here

Don't disagree there either.

Do you not pay attention to recruiting?

I do, but what happens in games > what some dork says he's worth in star value.

LSU had...
0 1000 yard WRs
0 900 yard WRs
0 800 yard WRs
0 700 yard WRs

Cool. Now watch how many of LSU receivers get drafted and end up having solid NFL careers compared to A&M receivers.

bama Dline. Talented, no doubt. Experienced, two very experienced, two somewhat. Have produced BIG, two yes, two not so much. payne and hand in 30 games played combined had 29 total tackles.

bama LBs. williams was a third down rush specialist. In 15 games played he had 19 tackles. In 15 games played evans barely cracked double digit tackles with 10.

LSU returns SEVEN DBs with starting experience. Toliver and Jackson will make HUGE jumps in their second year.

Tigers return a total of 53 starts in secondary from '15 season. The tide returns 31 starts.

Payne, Allen, Hand, Tomlinson all played a ton last season.

Williams and Anderson were 3rd down specialists. We also return Reuben Foster, who started the entire year.

Humphrey (RFR), Minkah (FR), Ronnie Harrison (FR) all played a ton last season as freshmen. They will all make massive jumps as well. We also return Eddie Jackson and will have Sheffield and Brown working to be the 5th DB (former 5-star sophomore and freshman).

Now that NSD has passed:

Offensive Line - Bama
Defensive Line - Bama
Running Backs - LSU
Linebackers - Bama
Wide Receivers - OM
Defensive Backs - LSU

Pretty solid list. I'm not sure I'd put us #1 at OL, still a bit to figure out there, and we weren't "great" there last year.

I will admit I don't know much about the OL of teams other than LSU.

All I know is even in a "down" year according to Bama fans, their OL is still very good. So I'm going to put them at the top.

I know all four of those Dlinemen played a ton. I'm just saying hand and payne were nowhere near as productive as some bama fans claimed to be.

LSU returns more experience and production on the Dline.

Again I know what you're posting about the LBs. FYI foster started eight of the 15 games. Someone also mentioned evans as being productive, he had all of 10 tackles last year.

As for both secondaries, LSU has way more experience and depth returning.
