I don't know how it will rank overall but generally for Alabama I'd say

Offensive Line : Top 3
Running Backs : Middle of the Pack w/ change to be Top 4 by end of year
Wide Receivers/TE : Top 3
Quarterbacks : Middle of the pack w/ chance to be Top 4ish by the end of the year
Defensive Line : Top 3
Linebackers : Top 3
Defensive Backs : Top 3
Special Teams : Top 3

we won't be that good at lb. But qb is kind of an important position especially when you are looking at wr's.

Offensive Line - LSU

LOL

October 2015 - "best offensive line in the SEC"
November 2015 - "terrible offensive line, totally sabotaged LF's heisman campaign"
February 2016 - "best offensive line in the SEC"

Ole Miss is among the best in WR groups, but having Kelly back (versus b.Harris and whoever is left at A&M ) should put OM at the top

We get most of our O-Line back, and everyone who starts this year rotated in and out last year.

Don't you lose your left tackle and your right tackle, not to mention your center is moving to one of the tackles meaning a new starter there too? And on top of that, your OL got whipped by a lot of good fronts last year.

I'm not saying they will suck, but good grief you guys go from hot to cold in t-minus 60 seconds with your players.

Bama will have the best secondary. Jackson was the best safety in the league last year and we'll have 4 5 star cornerbacks on the field in dime

I'd like to bump some of those threads LSU fans made when the whole fire Les Miles thing was going on.

Now all of a sudden LSU is at the top again and is destined to bring this team another NC. Even though in November he apparently sucked and needed to go because LSU could never win again with him and because he was consistently out coached. Because that is totally going to change. Especially with their OC Cam Cameron. Not impressed at all with him. Didn't like him with the Ravens don't think much of him at LSU.

the complete 180 LSU fans have done is pretty funny.

I do, but what happens in games > what some dork says he's worth in star value.

LSU had...
0 1000 yard WRs
0 900 yard WRs
0 800 yard WRs
0 700 yard WRs

Alabama returns OJ Howard, Ardarius Stewart, Calvin Ridley, and Robert Foster in the receiving department.

LSU at RB and Oline will probably be the best. Lot of experience and ton of talent, led by LF7. Could make a case for Tennessee and UGA.

Up front on d-line, think it's hard to argue against what Bama has coming back. Alabama will have Allen, Ryan Anderson, Williams, Daron Payne, Hand, and Evans up front. Tennessee and A&M both have solid returnees, but there were some games where they got pushed up front.
