Bo Jackson, every other back on the roster with him

They were great and even better in the NFL BUT in CFB I would put Charles White (1979 Heisman) and Marcus Allen (1981 Heisman) above them.

This topic is still relevant to the ongoing season.
A more pertinent question is why does UGA blow so hard with that sort of talent. Maybe LSU fans know the answer?

Clinton Portis, Willis McGahee, Frank Gore was a nice little stable once upon a time.
Those 3 plus Najeh Davenport were as good as anyone has ever had.

Barry did have the best season in CFB history and they didn't count his bowl game.
White and Allen was awesome. ND 4 horsemen. Bush and Lendale. There are so many great ones.

Miami is the answer. I don't think people realize how nasty Gore was before he tore his ACL. He was going to start over McGahee in '02, who ended up rushing for 1,800+ yards. Miami would have destroyed everyone that year if they had both.
CP said that Gore would have been the best running back to ever play there and was way better than both he and WM. He ended up having the best NFL career anyway.
