Everyone saying Hill is clearly better than Davis are either homers or not watching Davis play. Both are great.

128 yards in 3 quarters against an Arkansas defense that was in the top half of the league in rushing defense was pretty impressive. If he had taken snaps in the 4th he goes over 200 easily.

For LSU, I would take Hill over Davis because of our system and because he is a better downhill runner.

No fake spread option bullshite where the running back doesn't have to have vision like USC runs. I would take a pro-style back over anything. That's how u win in the SEC unless you have a freak playing QB.

I don't see Hill being the first drafted. He probably should be if he goes out this year, but I get the feeling he won't be. Depends on who is the first team looking to draft a back, some will get too bitchy about the sucker punching, others will give no shits.

Davis has great speed and runs just as well out of the I as he does out of the shotgun.

Well Davis already rushed for more yards against UGA which is another common opponent. But apparently that doesn't count.

You want to know the funny part?

Davis also out-rushed Gurley in that game, in Gurley's own back yard.

I'd say Gurley was playing against a better defense.
