1. Mike Davis
2. Jeremy Hill
3. T.J. Yeldon
4. Alex Collins
5. Tre Mason
*Todd Gurley would be #1 if he wasn't hurt

Hill missing the first game is irrelevant at this point because USCe has had a BYE WEEK and LSU has not.
Both guys have played in 6 games, Hill was held out substantially though in 1, which helps contribute to the carry difference of 13 between the 2. When you flesh out the stats, they are pretty similar.
Davis - 111 carries, 742 yards, 6.7 ypc, 9 TD
Hill - 98 carries, 715 yards, 7.3 ypc, 9 TD
Arguing 1 is better over the other is completely stupid.

Dude Davis averages 20 more total YPG than Hill. They're both 1 and 2 but at this point Davis has been better. Y u so mad?

I am not saying he isn't impressive, but when you want to give stats as an answer let's level the field. If hill had played in the first two games his numbers would be over 1000 yards rushing already especially considering the competition level of the second game
If and buts, candy and nuts. Let's win an argument based on wouldas, couldas, and shouldas.
This argument isn't about recruiting classes, and it's not a pre-season attempt to pass the time. It's based on what players are doing ON THE FIELD, not what perceived potential they MIGHT have IF they actually took the field. Based on reality, and NOT on spin-jobbing:
Davis > Hill

I would still take Hill over Davis six days a week and twice on Sundays

You can't take an opinion in stride anymore. I can't wait for the O bC retires and y'all become irrelevant again

Not mad just, not even saying Davis isn't one the best in the SEC, just saying that the whole stat argument is stupid. These two guys are very very close but USC fans think that Davis is a clear cut better back

Hill is best rb in country. Seems like its almost a major feat each time someone holds him to a sub-5 yard carry
Posted on 10/13/13 at 8:57 pm to Tigerbait8
Hill is a beast.
Davis is more finesse but he still exhibits plenty of power.
Davis is the better all-around back but Hill is the better bruiser.
They each prosper within the system they play.

Hill is averaging over 7 yards a carry and just ran for 121 yards on a Florida defense that is regarded as one of the best in the country. so when davis plays UF, then we will know

So Hill is averaging more yards per carry and has already gone against the best rushing defense statistically in the SEC? Both are extremely close but to say Davis has been better because he has more carries is silly.
