Both Hill and Davis have the benefit of running behind excellent OLines and both also have the benefit of playing behind excellent QBs.

Hill just wears you down hitting him over and over.

Davis wears you down trying to put pads on him.

Both are very good backs.

I'd love to see them face-off in Atlanta.

I think it is easily Hill. Collins is solid, as is Mike Davis.

They've already played a common opponent, Davis>Hill.

I would love to see Hill and Davis play in a meaningful game against each other, to decide this question head to head.

Why would this decide it?

USC fans want to be best at something so badly.

Dude Davis averages 20 more total YPG than Hill

Huh? Hill is averaging 119.2, Davis is averaging 123.7. Me thinks you forgot to factor in that Hill didn't play in LSU's first game (and he barely played in our second, but w/e).

ETA: missed the "total," my bad (although I'm still pretty sure its not 20 yards/game difference)

If you add pass yards then yea.

However, USCs system is different. LSU has never been known to dump many passes to RBs.

Anyway, that's why they rate him better than Hill. We use Hill for what he is, a badass.

Oh go frick yourself with that bullshite.

That's got nothing to do with it.

We expected a big drop off when Lattie departed early. Davis has exceeded our expectations and we're proud of him because he is a genuinely good, hard working, kid.

If you can't grasp that then just go frick yourself you pompas little frick.

Hill impressed the helloutta us when he trampled our arse last season. No other group of fans has shown him more respect than we Gamecoxk fans you little fricktard.

I'm going to have to give the nod to Hill ahead of Davis after his performance against FL, missing a game and only 6 touches in game 2. His ypc is better and he has the same TD count.

Davis is very good and is a solid 2nd and barely out of the 1 spot.

Jeremy Hill - 7.3 yards per carry
Mike Davis- 6.7 yards per carry.
Both have 9 touchdowns.

Davis has 13 more attempts and just 27 more yards.

Hill played excellent against an elite defense (Florida)
Davis hasn't played an elite defense.

They're both great backs and the stats are quite similar, but I think everyone except USCe fans would take Hill.

Mike Davis leads the SEC in total yards from scrimmage with 927, 154.5 ypg.
Hill is 2nd with 802, 133.7 ypg.

Hill and Davis both played @Georgia, one right after the other, and Davis had 16 carries for 149 yards while Hill had 21 carries for 86 yards.

Same could be said about LSU fans. Stats show that Davis is the better, more productive runner this year but LSU fans have spent 4 pages trying to come up with excuses and skewing the stats to show Hill is better and its just not working.

Oh for fricks sake, Georgia , like every damn USC fan, thought after y'all lost Latt your rushing wouldn't be what it is. They did not play USC thinking you would run the ball down their throat. They knew LSU would if they let us so they defended the run first, that's why we had so many damn yds throwing the ball.

If this is your premise to your argument then it is a sad state of affairs

You can thank Mike Davis for that.

Nah, teams can't stack the box at all against LSU because Mett has really progressed and y'all have some really great receivers, OBJ and Jones are better than anyone USC has right now.

Landry is our other big receiver, but if you watched the UGA game that's what they did a lot
