When you think of aTm RB Dante isn't even in top 5
In no order:
Leland would've won the Heisman if RC wasn't so damn stubborn IMO
Hill
Parker
Crow
Dickey

For Georgia, Terrell Davis probably had the best NFL single season in 1998.
Tarkenton, Champ, Hines, Hearst (short career but still ridiculously good and talented) for career.
In 10-15 years, the answer will either be Stafford or AJ Green.

Meh? Won a SB HOF was anchor of probably best defense ever. The Lutheran North guy deserves a mention as much as Atwater. But clear winner is Alworth.

Since Alworth was mentioned and I have a semi crusade to get a certain player more recognition here's a pretty good article

When asked who he believes has been most snubbed by the Pro Football Hall of Fame, hall of fame member Lance Alworth told me, “Johnny Robinson of the Chiefs. He was the best defensive back I ever played against. He’s my man.”

Exhibit A is a guy who had 10 yard run at a guy who had no moves?
You do realize Okoye was beaten out by Barry Word?
I'm not saying Atwater wasn't good but Hampton was as good as Atwater

I try not to get in opinionated arguments in here too much because in the end it is just an opinion

Oh no big deal, I'll just run for 212 yards in my first game ever, against LSU...

I'd think Hines Ward for UGA.

Dante Hall was really good his sophomore and junior years. But he was a big enough of a pain in the arse that he got kicked off the team his senior year after the second game.
He doesn't even touch the best RB in A&M history. Darren Lewis was a beast who ran for over 5k yards and 45 TDs in his four years. He ran for 1,600 in two different years, 27 total 100 yard games and 5 total 200 yard games.
Unfortunately for him he got hooked on coke, tested positive at the combine, and ruined his NFL career before it ever got started.

UGA - Hines Ward
Safe bet to go with one of 3 Super bowl MVP’s: Hines, Terrell Davis or Jake Scott. But I would nominate either Fran Tarkenton or Champ Bailey. If you ask in 10 years, it will be AJ, with Geno Atkins throwing his name in the hat.

UA - Joe Namath
This is a joke, right?
John Hannah is considered by many to be the best OG to ever play the game.
Don Hutson set NFL receiving records that stood for decades until they were broken by Jerry Rice.
Derrick Thomas...well, we'll always wonder what might have been...
Namath was a very talented qb, but bad knees made him very immobile in the latter half of his career, and all he could do was force passes. I think he had as many int's as td's in his career.
If you just have to force a qb in there for UA, Starr or Stabler would be a better choice.
