Ellis Johnson is a better hire than you made

Chris Ash had done pretty well Top 25/20 defenses every year he's been DC

D Craig is a better hire than you made.

Not really

The staff as a whole is better at Auburn.

You hired guys from A State. I don't care how you spin it they aren't better than our hires.

Plus you hired a Clemson DB coach who's DBs actually got worse over time

Congrats

We can talk about the other hires if you want. Ours were just as good, if not better

AU has landed among the top recruiters from Florida State, Clemson, Georgia, and Arkansas.

Reminds me slightly of:

quote:

“It was imperative to not only find great recruiters but great recruiters that knew the conference,” Kiffin said in a statement posted on the Birmingham News website. “To be able to take South Carolina’s recruiting coordinator, Mississippi State’s recruiting coordinator, Alabama’s best recruiter and Auburn’s best recruiter over the past 10 years was a great accomplishment for us.”

Well to be fair to Gus, he was probably responsible for most of Chizik's success.

What does that matter?

If rather have John Chavis as a defensive assistant than anyone on your staff, and he has less HC experience.

I disagree. I guess time will tell though.

Arkansas got a HC who knows little to nothing about the state in which he now lives.

... So this means he's a bad coach? Nice logic there

He may be a good coach but first he has to recruit players. Success in the college ranks begins with recruiting. And one of the keys to recruiting is having the right contacts. right now I'm betting Belema knows how to get to his house and the athletic complex but past that is still lost as hell. Look for there to be a continuation of the exodus of the majority of in-state talent from Arkansas going elsewhere.

The sad thing is you actually beleive what you are posting.

Malzahn is unproven, and he doesn't have Coach Freeze laying the foundation this time around.

I'd be surprised if he makes it to a bowl game.

BB can't coach a team past 7 wins in the worst BCS conference in America. It's pretty laughable that any of you are still fans of your teams. I would have quit at the press conference.

We've already got a 4* 2014 DT from El Dorado signed...

I'd take our LB coach over Chavis as our DC.

I'm not the one claiming coaches from A State and ones that Arkansas passed on are home run hires
