If y'all haven't listened to the wood brothers, they are f-ing awesome. They're coming to Knoxville the day after my birthday, and I think they're hitting up a lot of sec towns during the same tour. I'd highly recommend seeing them if you get the chance.
And more in general, we are all very lucky to be sec people. Even our shittiest towns (Starkville), are great places to be in on a weekend in the fall (or spring, for that matter). Chances are, if you look hard enough, you'll find at least a couple decent bands playing, and if you can't (Starkville), you are doing something wrong.
