Mizzou's most active (free) message board is Tigerboard.com

Tidefans is a sunshine pumping site and way too heavily moderated.

Hogville is the biggest and most active Arkansas board, although it's filled with mongoloids and people over 50 who don't know how the Internet works.
This. I use to browse and post on Hogville, but it became unreadable in the late days of Petrino. Everyone who posts on there is either:
1) a moron sunshine pumper who thinks we'll win every game by 50
2a) a moron Negahog who actively roots against the program because they're still obsessed with Nutt/Petrino/Gus.
2b) a moron Negahog who actively roots against the program because they're mad we're moving games out of Little Rock.
Like Vague said, its poster base is filled with middle-aged men who are devoid of an original thought, incapable of stringing together a coherent sentence, and who know nothing about college football because they've never watched a football game that didn't have the Razorbacks in it.

OMSpirit for Ole Miss imo. Wealth of information available.

I'm not sure if Hogfan would even be in the top-5 for Arkansas. I'd forgotten it even existed. Is that the board Brian Fitchie runs?
For all it's faults, and it does have many, I like Hogville. But then I'm one of those old men, although I've been on the internet longer then html or the web have been around, so I know how it works very well. The opinions of those old men are what I appreciate about Hogville and I think it's the youngsters who make it bad.

Hogville is pretty bad. Whenever I do venture over there, I only go to the recruiting board. Now usually I like Richard Davenport but every year he feeds consistent bullshite about a couple sexy recruits that we have no shot at based on one quote he squeezed out at some camp one time. Malachi Dupre and Dalvin Cook immediately come to mind. And the "older" hog fans tend tend to eat it up because RD is their only source. If anyone comes in and mentions we're nowhere on his list of top teams or that he has never visited, they just get downvoted to oblivion and mocked for their "poor lil Arkysaw" mindset. That place is a cesspit and if you do anything other than blindly pump sunshine into everyone's arse then you're a deemed a troll and your downvote count rises by the thousands. frick Hogville.

I mostly stick to the recruiting forum myself, because I can't take much of MMQB. Although they do have some great threads over there, sometimes.
I've been following recruiting since long before the recruiting sites existed. I literally have a cap that Rivals sent me when they first opened, even though I'd yet to pay them a cent at that time. I've had subscriptions to Rivals, Scout, ESPN, Faninsider (or whatever it was called), HI and several others over the years. I know you've been around for a while, but I think Richard is better then all of them. It's his job to report on recruiting, which includes players we've offered, but may have no chance at signing. I don't recall him ever implying that we had a chance at a recruit we didn't and it's not his fault if fans take it the wrong way. The sunshine pumpers can be hard to take, but I'll take them over the debbie downers any day.

This is the best forum layout period for me. It's not close. I'm talking all types of forums too, not just sports.

Volnation. It also has a lot of features that I wish tRant had. The biggest one is being able to go directly to the last post you read instead of having to find where you were by scrolling through the thread. Also an easier way to do multiquotes.
