Let's call it what it is:

Schtayte's atmosphere in the late 90s was unparalleled. Just ask Albert Belle.

In the past five years, however, things have taken a turn for the worst in Starksvul. Your metal bleachers have been empty, you only fill up the stadium for the Ole Miss series, and frankly the program lost its luster outside of last season's run to Omaha.

Ole Miss has the best baseball facility and atmosphere in the state of Mississippi, hands down. It's newer, cleaner, has more club seats, more amenities, better video board, better setting, better looking women, and more beer.

Just like this weekend's series, Ole Miss wins again.

The baseball atmosphere at Dudy Noble is unparalleled, but I will say that the Swayze Field should be on that list. It could easily be #2 or #3 in the SEC overall. Aesthetically speaking, Swayze is way up there. It's a nice baseball setting. But Dudy Noble will take another leap when the new plans are finalized.

A lot of venues are nice, though. I think Tennessee has a cool stadium. Vandy has a unique design. LSU, SC, Ark, and A&M are really nice. In the ACC Virginia, Clemson and FSU are up there. There are some kick arse baseball environments in the Pac 12 and Big West also. Someone provided Pepperdine, there's also UCSB which are two of the prettiest campuses in the country.

Why does it make you mad that the Dude is nationally known as the Carnegie Hall of College Baseball?

It's more like the Thalia Mara Hall of College Baseball.

I think the great pyramids of Giza is a fair comparison. Well known as a great achievement, but ancient and crumbling. Also a bunch of dirty people on the outskirts

I can assure you that Dudy Noble won't only be the consensus #1, but #1 by a landslide after the new plans are finalized. Will be unveiled this year.

Is Pepperdine Division II? Last I checked, they still:

A.) Are in the West Coast Conference.
B.) Have a 28-8 record (which is significantly better than the "Diamond Dawgs")
C.) Have done something that Mississippi State hasn't - win a National Championship.

Arkansas has the nicest stadium I've seen in person, IMO. Not sure how they missed this list.

I'd also throw Nebraska's stadium as an honorable mention. Their stadium would be top 5 in the SEC.

Ark played there last year I believe. Thing I didn't like from watching on TV is that they have ribbon boards out by the bullpen that were flashing when we were at bat. seems pretty bush league IMO

As long as they keep left field looking like a Sanford 'n Son yard, "The Dude" will always be a joke
