Mizzou record for 10 years prior to Pinkel's arrival, 42-68-3.
Since Pinkel got to Mizzou, 102-63.
Last 7 years, 8th most wins in the Power 5.
Most underrated coach in America.

I'd put Jimbo Fisher in the top 10. He doesn't get a lot of credit.
Bobby Bowden is obviously a legend, but he was 30-22 in his last four years there with no ACC Championship Game appearances in those years.
Fisher is 45-10 in four years with 4 bowl wins, 3 ACC Title Game appearances, 2 ACC Championships and a National Championship.

I started to put Pinkel in there but his hire and the majority of his career has been in the Big 12.

Outside of the BCS era by about 6 years I think, but Bill Snyder was the best coaching hire of the last 30 or 40 years I would say...K-State was 299-510 before that and hadn't won a game in three years. They were worst Division I program in America bad, and it wasn't even close.

Yes - he did wonders for them.

Clearly. You had to wait 4 hours to cool off.

The only coach who should be above Carroll is Saban
agreed. carroll came out of nowhere and revived USC and is now arguably the best coach in the NFL. nobody was excited about the hire when it happened.
