Good stuff... Ranking by Conference Championships Alabama - 29

Auburn - 12
Florida - 8
Ole Miss - 6
Kentucky - 2
South Carolina - 1
Mississippi State - 1

Dollars to Pesos my friend...

The exchange rate for SWC titles to fricks given is around 34:1. So we give half a frick about all 17 of those.
I'll give you a 2:1 rate on that one Big12 title.

So you are on the board with 1 frick given.

Go to the sunbelt and brag about those 18 titles and you'll probably find a good exchange rate. They will likely give lots of fricks and you will feel cool

Yes, but Phil A Buster just enjoys typing and being a dick too much. Speaking of, instead of medium six, I bet it's a tiny two.

Make The East Great Again

I think the East will be much tougher this season. The downside is I seen UF and UT taking a step back next season.

A slight step. But Georgia will probably be the overwhelming favorite in 2017

I would still have it be SEC only, at least when power ranking within the conference. Nationally I would include all.

Seriously though, how good was John Vaught? Absolutely dominant in a strong SEC and the Rebs scratched and clawed just to be average before and after him. I don't think he gets enough credit among the pantheon of great CFB coaches.

Not gonna question Coach Vaught's legacy, but I doubt it's completely irrelevant that OM's best period somewhat overlaps the worst periods for five of the conference's more dominant programs.

LSU barely overlapped(they won a natty in that time period). Vaught and Bryand didn't like to play much. Tennessee and Georgia are the only other relevant ones anyway and Tennessee was fine. Vaught also never played LSU or bama in Oxford. He was really damned good.

*As bad as Tennessee's recent period has been (2005-2014), its actually the "best" worst ten year period of any of the current 14 SEC programs

It is good that we all have navels at which to gaze.

Seasons with no wins at all:

Bammer - 1955

Florida - 1946, 1979

Auburn - 1950

Kentucky - 1982

Missouri - 1933

Tennessee hasn't failed to win at least 4 games in any year since 1924, when they were 3-5.

I guess MSU didn't have a best ten year period. They aren't on your list.
