Best: Auburn 2001. First time LSU qualified for the SEC Championship after the abysmal 90s
Worst: Ole Miss 2014. Come on man....

quote:I tried to do a little research about Alabama storming the field after the last time someone posted a thread about it.
Well that's the only one I remember.
I found that Bama stormed the field about 2 times, at least that's all I could find....
Jan. 1978 - #3 Bama fans tore down the goalposts after beating #9 Ohio State 35-6 in the Sugar Bowl. Bama thought they had won the natty, but #5 ND jumped Bama and was awarded the championship after beating #1 Texas.
1961 Iron Bowl Legion Field; Alabama beat Auburn 34-0 giving Bear Bryant his 1st national championship and undefeated season....

Alabama - N/A
We don't storm the field. Such antics are for lesser programs.

The last time we stormed the field was my last game as a student. Nebraska 2010. Everything about that game was awesome
Wife and I were at that game.

I don't think I've ever heard of Bama fans storming the field. It may have happened, but I've never heard of it.

Like, how long can one jump up and down and scream before its time to move on?

Didn't black lives matter storm your football team because the university president had too much white privilege?

some auburn folks would say kix six, but the florida game about 15 years ago was the best IMO
Kick 6 was the best storming by us ever. Embrace it NYC. I know it has been beat in the ground but there is a reason for it.
shite was awesome

Hell yeah i joined in! Wife-to-be, too. They opened up temporary seating on the track around the field for that game and we were in the front row
Wasn't awkward at all, either. My little brother was a walk-on that year so we were running around trying to find him (we did....idk how to this day). Then after singing the war hymn (which is done after every win, anyways), the crowd dispersed pretty naturally.
