ah, the standard mantra of UF football history! I heard the Pierre's original message was "be sure to count your UF stats only since 1990."

We've won 3 of the last 4. We've won more games than you recently. We've won the east twice since you've last won one. We've been recruiting better. We have a better staff. I don't know how old you are, but if you're under 40, everything you grew up knowing about this rivalry is about to continue taking this turn for the worse that you haven't experienced before.

Yeah, seems like he would pose as an LSU. Guess we will never know.

UGA sure does have a consistent history of success... Their championship in 1980 was the first of....

One.

It's funny that you're a fortune teller. I do know that Florida won last year. I do know that Florida has won 19 out of the last 25. I do know that Florida has won an SEC Championship (the big boy trophy, not the Mizzou trophy) more recently than you. I guess it is impressive that in the past 25 years, Florida has amassed a more impressive resume of achievements than UGA has accomplished in their entire history.

No doubt about it.

I'd say one of the 90s florida teams was surely the best.

Yep and that 2008 Florida team was no better then 3rd, imo.

Since you're a Florida fan I doubt you know who has more wins all time.

You also probable don't know who has more SEC Championships.

You know that's not true.

I do know that Florida won last year

you use this as a trumpeting point, but I gauran-frickin-tee that in 98 or 05 or 08 or, now (since you're doing it now) that if a UGA fan had simply said "we won last year" you'd trumped recent success. So ya can't have it both ways sister

quote:

I do know that Florida has won 19 out of the last 25

It's so odd that 25 years coincides with the decade that spurrier (one of the best SEC coaches of all time) was facing goff and donnan, and one of the most mediocre decades in our history. Nobody GAS what spurrier did against goff.

Not only is that not true, but it is still going to take yall 2 decades to catch up to us in SEC championships and all time wins. If you even catch us then. That's gotta smart a bit.

Actually I do. Florida has won the most SEC Championship Games all-time. Anything before that doesn't matter.

I noticed you edited this post. It originally said:

So you basically said anything 1991 and prior doesn't count.

You could not be more stereotypical of a florida fan.

It'll be okay. You know that using Spurrier being a GOAT coach in the SEC in the 90's and you having one of your worst coaches isn't a valid excuse. Oh, and In the 25 years, Spurrier has only coached at Florida for 12 of them. And Georgia still has only beaten Florida 6 times in that time period.

atlgator wears cut off jncos, greases his guido hair to perfection before every game and drinks mike's harder cranberry lemonade while chomping at strangers like some kind of bozo that escaped from a mental institution.

People take pictures behind his back like this

It's okay, if I was a Gator fan I'd ignore my teams shitty history before SOS took over too. I mean it's what all the other UF fans expect you to do. I'd also ignore the fact that UGA owns us all time in wins and conference championships. It's all quite embarrassing for a Gator fan.

South Carolina was definitely the worst. Just look at the East that season:

#22 South Carolina 9-5
Florida 8-5
Georgia 6-7
Tennessee 6-7
Kentucky 6-7
Vanderbilt 2-10
