I live in Albany, Georgia. I would say the reason the kids don't go to D1 colleges in this area has more to do with qualifying. Aairon Savage is from Albany. One of the few exceptions to the rule. Lionel James and Troy Reddick are also from Albany, but I don't claim Reddick.(One of the HBO 4)

Best: Rock Hill area, hands down.

How about the panhandle region? I know Wuerffel came from Ft. Walton Beach, I don't really recall of any other big players from the panhandle
