Who else besides Frank Thomas would be considered the greatest SEC player ever?

Please list them? I am sure there are some that have comparable numbers just can't think of them. Palmerio, Hudson, Belle come to mind.

He has had pretty serious drug and alcohol problems for the better part of like 20 years and choked out two different wives

Yips aside, good player though

College careers. I was actually surprised by Frank Thomas stats. I remember him being a great hitter like he always has been but I also remember him being walked all the time. Surprised he ended up with 50 homeruns.

Eddy Furniss, Russ Johnson, Blake Dean, Todd Walker, and that's just hitters that played at LSU and off the top of my head. A lot of players have put up Thomas' stat line

Give Michael Wacha a few World Series rings and he'll surpass this.

Best chance to pass knoblauch right now is probably naquin and it's still a question if he can continue to play like he did last year

We know theres a 75% chance WilliamTaylor is mentally impaired so we don't really pay any attention to him. He still has a Clemson icon and avi. He's our texag7/cajunbama and we couldn't be more ashamed of him.

Correct. Magadan holds the career average record in the SEC at .439 (10th in NCAA History)

In '83 he hit .525. Also best in sec history

I've just recently started following college baseball more closely in the past couple of years and I've never really thought about it that much until you see those names right there together.....that's one hell of a lineup.
