Bert's problem is that Arkansas doesn't have the recruiting advantages to enable the style of football he's trying to implement.

He's too scrawny. He needs to pack on more mass so the players will respect him.

I agree to a certain extent in theory but Bert has had bigger issues than style of play. When we were at our Best the Allen brothers were throwing for 300 yards. The whole only likes to run the ball is over played a little.

A few of them:

-Diabetus
-High Cholesterol
-Decreasing mobility due to stress on the joints
-Lack of energy due to carrying around the equivalent of an extra person all day.

Biggest problem I see is that he isn't very good at motivating his team. They're inconsistent. He is near emotionless on the sideline. And the players seem to follow in his lead and play without emotion at times too. That's exactly how you blow three possession leads twice in a row. I don't see talent as his issue at all.

His problem is not being able to see what his dicky do for the last decade or two. Has to cause some mental anguish.

That's one of his problems but he's too inconsistent for the recruiting to be end all be all answer.

We lost to TCU, it's not like they're some super power. We didn't just lose as in we played decent and still got beat (that's a whole different beast). We played like a roomba that kept bumping into the wall, as if they have no idea what the hell is going on out there- and that has happened every year he's been here.

Recruiting disadvantages didn't lose those games to TCU, Va. Tech, Missouri, Toledo, Texas Tech, Mississippi State, Rutgers, etc.

Bert has been inconsistent recruiting o line guys here actually. He has been bad at managing a roster. He is awful at finding a way to get the most talented guys out there.

Instead our starters are based on GPA, and who is earliest to meetings.

There is a reason why drew Morgan was not starting over other WR's until injury forced them to start him. That reason had nothing to do with football I'm sure.

Teams in that area of the country have issues recruiting lineman. Simple really.

While this is true...He should be able to get higher caliber athletes on the OL.

Wisconsin didn't either. He's just so inconsistent.

Yep, beating the East winner last year and losing to the last place East team is the perfect example of this

Would have better recruiting if the school was in Little Rock. Unless they have Arkansas ties, not many stud black kids want to be in the far corner of BFE in the Ozark mountains. Fact

What's better in LR or available to do in LR that isn't in Fayetteville? Nothing. There's simply more black folks and I guess that's what you're saying.
