Nobody got hyped over Ray. Hell, nobody had ever heard of Ray til he was announced.

Then your fans came here and talked about his "NBA Pedigree" and how he was going to dominate recruiting with the neo nazi at TSUN...

I know, the Ms. State bandwagon didn't have all the cogs in the wheels at that point.

Y'all vividly remember maybe one or two idiots on this board. That was one of the main problems Ray had. He had absolutely no support from the get-go. There was no excitement around him or our program going forward with him.

Ben Howland won't change chit. Sure, state may win a few more games than the past 3 seasons, but after going 16-15 and 17-14 the next two years the bully's will be calling for howlands head. Just face it state, yall will never be as good as yall were mid 2000's. It's over. You now have the chittiest arena, worst fan support, and absolutely no one on the roster that can make any immediate impact. Sucks to suck.

This thread and the responses in it, confirm to me that Stricklin made the right hire. Thanks for your concern Gentlemen.

Congrats on the hire. I agree that this much hatred must mean your team scored big with the hire. I hope MSU is ballin and helping bring respectability back to the SEC. They have to hate on something when a rival hires a big name Coach.

Gets it. It's going to be like the late 90's again. Auburn, State, & LSU smacking around the rest of the conference besides UK.

How oblivious can you be? This is a stepping-stone ordeal if I've ever seen one. How can a predominant winner hang his hat in arguably the worst college town in America? Enjoy your second consecutive 3 year coaching skit, playa

First off, no it's not. Secondly, do y'all really have nothing more to talk shite about MSU than the town it's in? Your punch line lost its juice a long time ago.

Either way, it must stay on your mind as much as you talk about it.
