Y'all are definitely trying really hard but I'm just sitting here laughing.
Y'all know what's about to happen. To be honest, if I were y'all, I would just look at it as a good run. You had a couple good years, in what otherwise has been a frick up of a program. Just look at the good bros. At least you won't have to watch basketball in the rain anymore after this year.

Don't ever compare a habitual loser to the greatness that was the Miami Hurricanes. Off the top of my head, they should strive to be comparable with the Cougars of Washington State. A shitty school in a worse town that has found a way to achieve marginal success throughout the years. Ryan Leaf was a Coug, so the thug aspect is there.
Seems like a good fit, it really does

Howland made 3 finals fours at UCLA? That is very impressive. I can see why y'all would be excited about hiring him, seeing how the state of Mississippi has made 1 final four in our collective history. I have 1 question though: how long do you think he will be there? It normally takes an elite basketball coach at least 7 years to build a successful and stable program.

Are you really recycling your posts? Come on man, I thought you were better than that.

I thought Howland was better than stooping to taking the State job. Surprises everywhere, eh?

Hell, Kennedy took a step down when he signed up to coach y'alls team, and that's saying a lot.

A step down from what, exactly? Cinci didn't offer
Posted on 3/26/15 at 9:37 am to DynastyDawg
No shite. Cincinnati is a basketball school and has won two national championships, although they were both in the early 1960s.
Kennedy wanted to return to his native Mississippi. Howland is merely desperate and will be using this job as a launching pad, possibly, to an actual institution with a competent athletics department.

That would have been some National Treasure Nicholas Cage shite. Also, not nearly obsessed with that score to notice it.
