Hopefully he can manage the egos better than he did later in his term at UCLA.

IF he is able to do that, then I'm willing to bet a bigger school will hire him away from there.

No, based on finishing above Ole Miss in the division every year since Dan's first year.

just glad MSU basketball can be mentioned in the same breath as Kentucky again

When has MSU ever been compared to Kentucky in basketball? Or did you mean by MSU (Michigan State maybe)? State is in no way compared or should be compared to Kentucky when it comes to the basketball program

It will be interesting to see who Ole Miss hires in 3 years or so.

It will be Bjork's first major hire.

What? Freeze and his bagman also attract recruits dummy. Deal with it.

sucks for y'all. Just when ole miss started beating State at basketball. They had to go hire Howland .

In a way, I think Andy "Akbar" Kennedy probably sees this as a good thing. Now that Howland has taken MSU recruiting national, it will make the MS high school and juco recruiting easier for Ole Miss.

No shite. That was in response to an Ole Miss poster assuming that State is paying recruits in basketball. Howland actually has a track record of success in both recruiting and putting players in the league.

He and Fox together is murder on everyone, so we sure hope he does.

I think he really wants to play at UK. We are hearing he wants to see how the guard situation shakes out since we have Briscoe and Murray both that can play the 2 at a high level as combo guards when Ulis runs point.

I seriously don't think Auburn fans should even use their breath to mention the word basketball because they cant get that shite even close to right.

And since Don is struggling with his reading comprehension today I will spell it out for him. If our recruiting is even being mentioned on the same webpage than that is a good thing not a bad thing. State has sucked for the last few years and we are glad to have excitement back in the program because we were real good when I was there.

We got some damn basketball SJW's on here today sheesh
