Lands No. 5 Recruiting Class in nation and No. 1 in SEC. Apparently we took a couple of high profile guys from Indiana and they are pissed.

No 5*s, no care... but I thought MSU didn't buy into recruiting rankings.

Basketball recruiting is a different ball game than football. Wouldn't expect you to understand that though. LOL at Auburn basketball.

This is the early signing period. Most of your top guys will wait until the late period to sign. It's a good start for Howland though. Hopefully he can manage the egos better than he did later in his term at UCLA.

just glad MSU basketball can be mentioned in the same breath as Kentucky again. It has been a rough couple years. The good news for Howland is he will not get as many of the 5* drama queens he had at UCLA due to us not being UCLA and in on the a lot of the best of the best. He can get a bunch of good players and hopefully make them better. After watching our first game I can tell you he is not running a slow brand of basketball anymore either. We tried to shoot the first open shot we got on almost all the posessions.

Sounds like Cal is going to get 3 players in the top 10 in upcoming class. Fox, Monk, and either Bolin or Bam Bam. I think UK will be fine.

Howland, unlike Freeze, is a proven coach and recruiter. His track record of putting players in the league attracts recruits. Unlike Freeze and his bag man.

I'm flashing back to Dontae Jones and the 36 credit hours he managed to earn the summer before he transferred to Mississippi State.
