You make an excellent point. The irony is that so many of your fanbase are making the same assumption about the Bama/LSU game based on your win over Ole Miss.

Nah, no passes here.

I have seen some pretty classless fans celebrating that last fumble. That's a little too far because Treadwell likely would have held onto the ball if not for the break. Celebrating the fumble is akin to celebrating his injury. Just have a little tact when you rib us, IMO.

That is correct. Ole Miss is the first team to ever lose a star player during a good season.

Right. No one took it easy on LSU in 2012 when we lost 3/5th of our starting oline, 2/3rd of our starting lb corp and our starting rb.the same year we lost TM7.

Well, lets just think about it this way: if Bo Wallace wouldn't have fumbled that ball on the 5yd line the Treadwell TD wouldn't have even mattered. I hate the guy is injured but that doesn't entitle you to a moral victory..

we all hate Treadwell's injury. But we hate the little girly OM fans even worse. Be careful, they will tell their daddy on you

If they throw the flag there and treadwell doesn't break his leg we certainly win. I'm sure AU can come up with some scenarios like that as well but you're wrong if you think we still lose if neither of those things happen. This whole narrative that OM didn't out play AU because they had a ton of penalties is asinine. They are called penalties because they give the team an unfair advantage. It's not like it was a bunch of false starts that have nothing to do with the other team. I believe great teams create their own luck and that's what AU has done for the past two years. I would never say we should have won that game because we fumbled twice inside the 5. Auburn made that happens and I give them credit for that.

Anyone that can't distinguish making fun of Ole Miss' hilarious failures from making fun of a kid's serious injury isn't worth worrying about.

Best of wishes to Treadwell.

To Ole Miss fans: HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... AAAAAHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Couldn't happen to a better group.

I haven't seen any lsu fans being dismissive of Bama. I think knowledgeable LSU fans know Bama.is stocked with future NFL talent. Knowledgeable LSU fans also see that , this season, Bama.is not good on the road. We see that Tenn had more rushing yards against Bama than they did against Ole Miss ,Florida, and Oklahoma, COMBINED. They see a bama qb that is best outside of the pocket and an lsu dline that is predicated om speed. I dont think any knowledgeable football fan thinks transitive property works.

One thing is certain - these two teams are loaded with talent, and both teams are getting better as the season goes on. It will be a tough game. Alabama and LSU aren't going away any time soon.

Dem ole missies done gone delusional...

"break a dude's leg=win the game"
If that was true, expect lots of broken legs next week.
OM D may be Landsharks, but their fans are Landwusses

Not at all. I have the utmost respect for Treadwell and wish him the best, and I would never poke fun at a player's injury. I know how much it sucks to get injured while playing, and have it affect your future. I sprained both ankles my senior year in HS and it affected my play and ruined my shot at a D1 offer so I had to play Juco.

But a great part of football is talking trash to other fans...you do it when you win and you take it when you lose. OM fans need to get thicker skin

That's fine an all but this whole "OM got brought back to reality" and "your program will always be in the bottom" crap because of that loss is different when we are in year three off a 2-10 year. We didn't have tunsil the entire game. This year that kills us. Next year and for here on out it doesn't. It's blow, like it was to your 2012 team when you lost all those players but you recovered because of elite recruiting providing depth. We do not have that yet. Without tunsil we have zero OL who would start for anyone else in the west. Maybe I'm getting off on a tangent and maybe it's a compliment to compare our program to LSU's but to me it's apples and oranges until we have an actual full sec roster. It's certainly not an excuse though. We do not have a good enough roster to win the west. Not enough depth to survive.

So you don't think him snapping his leg is what kept him from crossing the goaline and or fumbling the ball?

You realize having 12 men on the field is only a 5 yard penalty, don't you? It is good to know we had no chance of overcoming that even if it was called
