Jon, it's back to Nutt Era shittiness. Somewhere, even Petrino is chuckling a little. This is going to be a lot of fun for the rest of the SEC. Not so much for Hog fans.

If you really believe this is true for 2012, you are really dumb. Plenty of terrible coaches, like Gene Chizik, have walked into great situations and had success.

That could very well be true for 2013 and beyond, depending on who were hire to be permanent HC. But for 2012, Arkansas is still a top 10 team. :dwi:

That's what Louisville thought. Then they missed a bowl.

Over the last 4 seasons, Arkansas and LSU have each been to one BCS game. Arkansas showed up and was in their BCS game until the final minute; whereas LSU might as well never even stepped off the damn bus.

I know you think Bobby Petrino is the greatest coach of all time and that we could never do anything good without him, but take off your Bobby Goggles and recognize that LSU is still going to have to do something it hasn't done sine 2006 - win @ Arkansas.

Difference is we are keeping all of Bobby's staff in place and aren't hiring Kragthorpe to replace him.

Funny thing is, LSU was only 2-3 @ Arkansas when Houston Nutt was the coach.

John L. Smith may or may not be as bad as Nutt, but he will have way more talent to work with.

Tha frick? What great situation did Chizik walk into? Auburn's program was at it's lowest in 10 years when Chizik took over.

Unless Tyler Wilson is Cam 2.0, this quote means absolutely nothing at all.

Cam Newton, Nick Fairley, Malzahn to run his offense... the dude struck gold.

He has shown to be mediocre at best without them at Auburn.

Chizik could't even muster a single B12 win in 2008, at Iowa State.

He'll probably get drafted in the first round.

They were not there when he got to Auburn. Chris fricking Todd was. Chizik brought in all three of the people you listed.

He has exceeded preseason expectations every year he has been at Auburn.

Iowa State has as much to do with Auburn as Michigan State does with Arkansas.

A coach that snapped Illinois' Big 10 losing streak (that dated back to 2004) during his final year at MSU is not as bad as Nutt?
